Great Indian Euro Trip: Amsterdam
Loved every bit of this place. The air, the water, the quality of life. The windmills, the cheese factories, the relaxed way of life. The art, the museums, the lush green parks. Walking city tours exploring the winding canals and cycling around the tulip farms. Amsterdam deserves more attention than it gets and it will always have a special place in my heart.
Must see places:
Anne Frank House (although maddening crowd is disappointing)
Red Light District: One time experience to check out what all the hype is about!

Keukenhof Tulip Gardens: Vivid, bright, colorful. One should rent a cycle to experience the beauty at it’s best. Best time to visit, mid-April- May.
Although not an art aficionado, I really enjoyed the Van Gogh museum and Rijksmuseum. One could spend endless hours just staring at Van Gogh’s famous paintings that display an interesting biography of his life.
